Court Costs

State-legislated court costs provide funding for many services including: 

• Crime-Stoppers organizations 
• Breath alcohol testing programs 
• Training of police management personnel
  • Law enforcement personnel
  • Continuing legal education for judges and court personnel
• Indigent defense
  • Compensation to victims of crime

State jury fund 

State general fund By City ordinance, this court also collects a local technology fund used to finance the purchase of or to maintain technological enhancements for the court and a local building security fund used to finance items for the purpose of security services for buildings housing a municipal court.
