Planning and Zoning Commission
- The Commission’s duties are to recommend a plan for the physical development of the city, to recommend approval or disapproval of proposed changes in the zoning plan, and to exercise control over platting and subdividing land within the corporate limits to the extent authorized by law.
- The Planning and Zoning Commission makes recommendations only and do not operate with a budget.
- This board carries two alternate members in order to be able to meet their quorum at all times due to a recent legal change that enacts a “shot clock” that would bypass normal approval procedures.
When:
Planning and Zoning Commission meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
Where: City Hall – 218 Main St, Paradise, TX 76073.
