Planning and Zoning Commission

  • The Commission’s duties are to recommend a plan for the physical development of the city, to recommend approval or disapproval of proposed changes in the zoning plan, and to exercise control over platting and subdividing land within the corporate limits to the extent authorized by law.
  • The Planning and Zoning Commission makes recommendations only and do not operate with a budget.

When:

The City Council now serves as the Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustments. Meetings are held on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
