The two-week early voting period for the Nov. 7 election began yesterday. Voters can cast their ballots at any of the four Wise County early voting locations: the main early voting site at the Women’s Building at the Wise County Fairgrounds, 3101 S. Farm Road 51 in Decatur, the Bridgeport Community Center, 1102 Lawdwin Ave., Boyd Community Center, 420 E. Morton Ave., and Alvord City Hall, 215 W. Elm. Voting hours today through Friday are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. Included on the ballet for Paradise is Mayor, Place 4, and Place 5.
